Eukaryotic Single Cell Genomics Facility

Overview of Services

Single-cell sequencing and single-cell RNA-sequencing technologies have proven to give new insights into cell type discovery and in the characterisation of heterogeneity in tumors as well as in normal tissue.

Eukaryotic Single Cell Genomics (ESCG) facility aims at providing high-throughput single cell transcriptomic services to the Swedish and the international scientific community. We offer streamlined single-cell RNA sequencing at full-service. The users provide us with single cells, we process the samples, sequence and deliver annotated gene expression data.

Sequencing platforms

  • NovaSeq X Plus (from August 2023)
  • NovaSeq 6000

Applications

  • Study heterogeneity within putatively homogenous cell populations
  • Unbiased discovery of cell types in complex tissues
  • Characterizing the cellular and genetic composition of tumors

Services

  • Single-cell RNA-sequencing
  • Single-nucleus RNA-sequencing
  • Single-cell ATAC-sequencing
  • Single-cell Immune Profiling
  • Single-cell CUT&Tag
  • CITE-seq and cell/nuclei hashing
  • Single-cell CRISPR screens in collaboration with the HTGE facility
  • Sequencing; We sequence our single-cell libraries with NGI Stockholm
  • Bioinformatics; We refer to NBIS for project specific bioinformatic analyses

Methods

  • Smart-seq3, full-length RNA-sequencing (plate-based, 384 cells)
  • 10x Genomics (droplet-based platform)
