About us:

Welcome to HistoCore, Biomedicum!

A histological and immunohistochemical facility located in Biomedicum, offering competences and equipment for histology, immunohistochemistry, and RNAscope. We routinely perform cryo- and paraffin sectioning of tissues of animal and human origin. We also assist in conceptualization, setting up and optimizing histological and immunohistochemical approaches specific for each research project

Please note that typically, your training will be scheduled within 1-3 weeks from sending in your request.

Occasionally this time estimation may be affected by instrument and/or staff availability.

NOTE:

• Next week (week 52): Wednesday, 25th December, we will not run dehydration due to red days in the calendar (25th December 2024).
• The week after (week 1): Wednesday, 1st January, we will not run dehydration due to red days in the calendar (1st January 2025).

Dehydration will resume as usual from week 2 as follows:

• Week 2: Wednesday, 8th January – Nino
• Week 3: Wednesday, 15th January – Nino
• Week 4: Wednesday, 22nd January – Nino
• Week 5: Wednesday, 29th January – Emma
• Week 6: Wednesday, 5th February – Emma etc.
